The Head of Finance will provide strategic and operational leadership across all financial functions of the organization. This role is responsible for financial planning, accounting, taxation, compliance, risk management, and capital strategy, while serving as a key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and performance management
• Oversee accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage tax planning, filings, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and working capital
• Drive financial controls, internal processes, and risk management frameworks
• Partner with leadership on business strategy, investments, and growth initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulators, and external advisors
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, or related roles
• Strong expertise in accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance
• Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience overseeing financial reporting, audits, and tax matters
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, cash flow management, and controls
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum professional certification such as ACA is required while MBA, CFA, or CMA will be added advantage
• Experience in scaling organizations, investor relations, or fundraising
• Exposure to multi-entity or cross-border operations
